Inter Milan defender Matteo Darmian is one of the players that have been linked with a move away from the Italian Serie A giants this summer. Just two weeks ago the defender was in an interview where he revealed that he regrets not being able to command a permanent starting role at his former club, Manchester United during his time there and that he was also determined to try to achieve that aim at Inter Milan. However, his dreams of becoming the club’s first-choice right-back could be in shatters following the recent reports that he is on the list of the likely exits at the club.
Inter are currently in a financial crisis after their Chinese co-owner opted out of the club and they must now sell some of their stars in order to meet up with the financial standards of the Italian Serie A. They have already sold prolific right-back, Achraf Hakimi, to French Ligue 1 heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain this summer and may still lose a couple of players before this window ends. Their star forwards Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku have both been linked with possible exits but the rumors have been clamped upon by their President.

The Spanish giants have had to field an attacker at right-back this season to suggest that the club misses Hakimi, who would have slotted into the role with minimal fuss. Spanish international Dani Carvajal is the first choice right-back but he has not been able for manager Zinedine Zidane for a big part of this season due to injuries and the Frenchman has turned to Spanish attacker Lucas Vazquez to do a job at right-back. The Germans played host to the San Siro outfit in what was a Group B meeting. Manchester United coach has said to havetargeted a dig at Jesse Lingard and Diogo Dalot after the 1-0 defeat to Newcastle earlier this season. Both have had difficult campaigns at Old Trafford for various reasons with Dalot failing to nail down a starting berth despite the departure of Matteo Darmian.

It is reported that Parma has paid around 3.6 million pounds to Manchester United to buy Darmian who was up for sale for quite some time. Manchester United was trying to offload the full-back for over a year but they could not find any suitor at his asking price. Finally, they have accepted a far lower bid for Parma.
