Manchester United had accepted yet another loss-making deal as they have allowed the defender Matteo Darmian to return to Italy. Italy Seria A club Parma has signed a four year deal with the player.
Manchester United enjoyed a successful past week with the club completing the transfer of Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan Bissaka.
Former Manchester United defender Rafael da Silva believes that the team should keep Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as their manager. He said that the Norwegian has turned the team around and that he has shown that he has the quality to manage at the highest level.
Matteo Darmian, who is the full back of the club of Manchester United is very close to joining the club of Juventus on a deal of loan until the season’s end in a deal that will also see the champions of Italy having the choice to sign him in the summer and that so permanently for around £7.1m.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is keen for Matteo Darmian to stay at the club, according to reports.
The Italian defender has made just one appearance for United this season and is thought to be eyeing a return to Italy in the January transfer window.
Jose Mourinho, the manager of Manchester United, the Premier League Club said Matteo Darmian is his emergency man of the club as there were talks about his movement in the summer. Mourinho said Darmian may be used in central defense and full back positions if need be for Manchester United. And knowing the fact that Mourinho is more impressed with utility players all through his career, this is quite possible. The player did not play much in this season and there is less chance that he would play for United unless the club suffers from major crisis related to injuries. However, Mourinho has not stopped showing his trust for the ex Torino player and the comments post his side’s victory of 2-1 at Vicarage Road on Saturday against Watford.
Juventus were largely reported to be interested in out-of-favour Manchester United defender MatteoDarmian. The Italian right back was set to return to the Serie A after struggling under Coach Jose Mourinho. However, current reports in Italy claim the champions are already looking at Juan Bernat of Bayern Munich.
Manchester United’s summer signing Nemanja Matic claims that it is too early for the new players to be crowned as the best signing of the summer.
However, Matic has also been joined by other summer signings producing good performances with the Romelu Lukaku especially on great form in the first few weeks of the season. The Belgian international has been able to score in two out of his three league matches for United. Lukaku was expected to struggle with the weight of a £ 75 million pricetag, but he has brushed off those suggestions by making significant inroads.Matic, though, says that the season is only three games old and it is too early to decide on the best summer signing. The future of the 27 year old Italian defender MatteoDarmian has recently been put into question as he has recently been seeing less time on the pitch at least in comparison to his debut season with Manchester United which was back on July of 2015.
MatteoDarmian himself is starting to feel the pressure of not being a regular starter in Manchester United as the Italian player said that there are a lot of great players trying to secure their position in the main team.
“I don’t think it is the right time to speak about my future. Now is the time to think about playing against Arsenal on Sunday and nothing more’’
“At the end of the season, we will see what happens. It is normal that when you play for Manchester United there is a lot of competition for places from great players. When the manager gives me an opportunity, I try to do my best and that is it. I want to help the team achieve our objectives and then let’s see.” Manchester United’s MatteoDarmian said.
