MatteoDarmian is feeling the pressure in Manchester United

The future of the 27 year old Italian defender MatteoDarmian has recently been put into question as he has recently been seeing less time on the pitch at least in comparison to his debut season with Manchester United which was back on July of 2015.

During MatteoDarmian’s debut season at Old Trafford, he managed to make 26 Premier League appearances and in their current campaign of 2016-17. The amount of appearances has been dropped to 17 with only 3 more league matches remaining.

MatteoDarmian himself is starting to feel the pressure of not being a regular starter in Manchester United as the Italian player said that there are a lot of great players trying to secure their position in the main team.

“I don’t think it is the right time to speak about my future. Now is the time to think about playing against Arsenal on Sunday and nothing more’’

“At the end of the season, we will see what happens. It is normal that when you play for Manchester United there is a lot of competition for places from great players. When the manager gives me an opportunity, I try to do my best and that is it. I want to help the team achieve our objectives and then let’s see.” Manchester United’s MatteoDarmian said. ROMERO DECIDES TO REMAIN DE GEA’S BACKUP

Boca Juniors came calling for Sergio Romero but the goalkeeper said no, deciding to remain at Old Trafford.

The Argentina No 1 spoke with the head coach of the South American club Guillermo Barros yet he was not convinced that the best move was to return home.

Romero has been with AZ Alkmaar, Sampdoria, and Monaco before he moved to Manchester United. He had the chance to leave during the winter window but opted to remain at Manchester despite barely getting any action under Coach Jose Mourinho.

Since signing in 2015, Romero has played in four Premier League and five Europa League games. He is the second choice who is barely called into action. He became the next in line behind De Gea after he replaced Anders Lindegaard but he would continue in that capacity until the summer.

Manchester United staff are watching 20-year old Joel Pereira. The young shot-stopper is currently on loan at Belenenses but if the Swiss born Portuguese develops fast, it could spell bad news for Romero. Continue reading

MATTEO DARMIAN: I WANT TO STAY AT UNITED

Manchester united defender Matteo Darmian has expressed his wish to remain with the red devils.

Darmian had been one of the many players to have benefited from the club’s poor form in the recent months.

Manchester united had had a very poor outing in the month of October and the following November. Even worse was for Darmian, as the club kept up a poor appearance at several outings, the team’s coach seemed to have absolutely no interest in using the Italian player in matches in his first few weeks at the club as manager.

As José Mourinho took over control of the club as coach, he seemed to have totally sidelined Darmian for the first few weeks as the Italian made no appearance at matches. While this might have been unfortunate for the Italian, he was not alone as his fellow teammates like Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger seemed as though they had been scheduled for an exit from the club.

However, with January fast approaching along with any chance for the Italian to make his exit from old Trafford, the news and circling rumors about Darmian leaving the club are gradually dying down. There have been media speculation about a possible transfer of the 27 year old in the recent months, but all rumors are gradually been dispelled. Continue reading

MatteoDarmian is determined to earn a spot in the first team

During the 2015-16 season of the Premier League, MatteoDarmian made 28 appearances as the Italian defender was a consistent starter for Manchester United but now with the arrival of Jose Mourinho things are starting to take a turn for the worse as he is beginning to spend more time on the sidelines.

MatteoDarmian has not performed in any of the 3 opening league matches of Manchester United. Bournemouth, Southampton and Hull City are all of the initial adversaries of United but Darmian was not given any playing time at all in any of these matches.

Even though Darmian has been on the sidelines in these early stages of the season, the Italian player is eager to earn his spot in the first team of Jose Mourinhoas he said:

“I think it’s good to have such competition within the squad because there are a lot of good players for every position in a big team. You just have to be ready for when the manager gives you a chance. I think he’s a great manager, he’s very hungry and his victories and successes speak volumes for him. We want to improve this week to be ready for the first game of the season.”MatteoDarmian of Manchester United said. Continue reading

Matteo Darmian Comes On Board For FA Cup

Matteo Darmian is one of the players that Manchester United is looking forward to harness for the FA cup final that is coming up this weekend.

This game is being much talked about and for several reasons. This match might not have been much of a tackle for Man United if they had not performed dismally in the last couple of months. With the team having been in trouble and lost out several matches since December, most fans are disheartened and are hoping that the team will be able to win the FA cup this weekend. They would be facing Crystal Palace that is considered an underdog in this game, but for their brilliant performance in the semifinals.

Manchester United is sprucing up their talents and Matteo Darmian is being trained and brought back to the fitness levels ahead of the game. The Italian defender has not been in action for a while. That is mainly because of an injury that he suffered in the last match. Continue reading

MATTEO DARMIAN MIGHT NOT BE FIT IN TIME FOR FA CUP FINAL

Manchester United player, Matteo Darmain, might not be fit in time for the FA cup final against Crystal Palace later this month, according to latest reports.

The Red Devils are struggling with the doubts that the player and even striker, Anthony Martial might miss the crucial final due to fitness issues.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal faces an anxious wait to see if both players can be fit in time for the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace on May 21. Martial was withdrawn during the warm-up before Saturday’s 1-0 win against Norwich City while Darmian left Carrow Road in a brace after being kicked on the ankle by Ivo Pinto. Both players will be assessed on Sunday to find out the extent of the damage.

On the injury worries, Van Gaal said:

“Martial felt something and I am a manager who doesn’t want to takes risks so I told him he couldn’t play and he had to sit on the bench with us.

“He had a tight muscle and we have to wait and see for the reaction. We have to see if it is still tight.

“The injury of Darmian is a kick on the ankle. He is now walking in a brace but the next day it can be OK. A kick is a kick.” Continue reading

LVG: WAYNE ROONEY IS BACK

Manchester United Head coach, Louis van Gaal, confirms the final recovery of English playmaker and captain, Wayne Rooney. Wayne Rooney has been out for weeks now due to a knee injury. The Red Devils striker might not play against Tottenham (that would make his 12th miss for the team).

However, the coach confirmed that his captain has stepped up his recovery from the injury that has kept him out for two months now.  The skipper joined the first team in training this week but would not play with the team in the league just yet.

The striker is billed to play on Monday in Old Trafford when Manchester United’s Under-21 team take on Middleborough U-21.

On Rooney playing, LVG said: “No (he won’t play at Tottenham), he’s playing for the Under-21s. It’s going very well. He has trained with us two times – only two times so it’s not too much. He has to build up his capacity in the 21s team.” Continue reading

Manchester United has no hope of signing Gareth Bale

The summer transfer window of 2015 finished in a very climatic way as reports were flooding social media claiming that Real Madrid was able to sign David de Gea on the deadline day and after it was believed that the Spanish shot-stopper was going to join Real Madrid, it was later discovered that the transfer was not going to happen due to the paperwork not being delivered in time.

Real Madrid and Manchester United are going through a blame war; one club is blaming the other for the sudden collapse of the transfer but at the end of the day, it doesn’t matter which club has the fault for this failed transfer, it won’t make a difference knowing what happened behind the scenes but what does matter is the fact that David de Gea will remain in Old Trafford at least until 2016 when his contract expires.

When 2016 arrives, David de Gea will become a free agent and then he can freely make a move wherever he wants.

Due to this failed transfer it does not seem like Real Madrid and Manchester United will be making any transfers between themselves anytime soon as their relations have taken a turn for the worse.

After it was announced that David de Gea would not be making his move to the Santiago Bernabeu, the president of Real Madrid Florentino Perez released a statement which read: “At 13.30, Manchester United already had the contracts. We sent the contracts to Manchester United at 13.30 and they took eight hours until they sent back the papers.
